About me:
My photography is rooted in perception — in the quiet moment before the mind begins to name or interpret.
I’m drawn to images that stop us for a second, that suspend habit, and open a small space where something can be felt without being explained.
Abstraction is the most natural medium for this: it loosens the grip of recognition and invites a different kind of seeing — slower, more physical, more direct.
I was born in 1980 in Zagreb, where I still live today.
My academic background is in molecular biology, and for many years I worked in the pharmaceutical industry.
Photography became a serious part of my life in 2022, and over time it has grown into a practice through which I explore presence, meaning, and the emotional geometry of the world around me.
Alongside photography, I write essays on perception and interpretation — on how we relate to what we see, and to ourselves through what we see.
I work with Fujifilm gear for its simplicity and unobtrusive feel.
Thank you for visiting.
I hope my work gives you a moment of stillness — or a moment that opens something quietly your own.
